Canadian vaporizer manufacturer Arizer has recently brought to market a new portable vaporizer called the Argo or Arizer ‘Go‘. Arizer is known for manufacturing high quality devices that have strong long lasting batteries. The first vaporizer from Arizer was a desktop model that is required to be plugged in to a power source. The V Tower is a budget friendly desktop device that performs at the same level as more expensive brands.
Arizer followed up the success of there first vaporizer with the Extreme Q, Solo 1, Solo 2, and Arizer Air. Focusing on performance and quality while maintaining budget friendly devices has helped Arizer become one of the most popular vaporizer companies in the world. Here we will take a closer look at the Arizer Argo vaporizer.
The Argo is considered an easy to use inhalation device. To turn the Argo on you will need to press and hold both the M and the + button for several seconds while the unit turns on. You will hear a beep that signals the vaporizer has turned on. To cycle through the various temperature options you can use the + and – buttons. You can select a temperature to one degree of precision up to 220 degrees celsius.
To load the Arizer Argo, you can push down the mouthpiece shield which protects the glass mouthpiece tube. This motion will allow the glass mouthpiece to be exposed and you can remove it to fill it with herbs. The glass mouthpiece’s double as the oven loading chamber. You can twist the bottom of the glass tube into ground up herb to fill it. Once this is done you place the tube back into position. Now you are ready to vape.
The Argo is an interesting unit. One may think that a portable vaporizer is suppose to be a quick hitter that you can quickly use on demand. The Argo is a bit more of a time consuming portable vaporizer as it takes a while to finish an oven load. Initially it takes a bit of time to get a first good draw, and due to the convection nature of how your herbs are stored in the vaporizer it takes a bit longer to fully vape the contents. The flavor is pretty good with the Argo as it is heated evenly gradually.
Comparing the Arizer Air 2 and the Arizer Argo the batteries are similar. However, due to the Argo taking longer for a single session you will not be able to get as many sessions out of the Argo as the Air. The Argo is more compact and has more features than the Air. For the first model of the Argo it does pretty good with this battery.
If you have a friend who is also interested in getting the Arizer Argo you can both save buy buying at the same time. Some of the best deals and special offers are available from Vape-Smart, you can view the Arizer Argo on Vape-Smart here.
The Arizer Go is definitely the most portable and most discreet Arizer unit to date and will definitely find a home with people who prefer longer sessions that are full of flavor. However, the Arizer Solo 2 still remains the most powerful of the Arizer line.

Puffco, a popular vaporizer company has released news of a new type of desktop vaporizer. The Peak is a battery powered desktop vaporizer designed for concentrates/dabs. Puffco is best known for the Puffco Plus and Puffco Pro devices. This new desktop vaporizer makes Puffco one of the few companies to manufacture both desktop and portable devices for cannabis products. The Peak is not yet available, however you can place your order here for when it does come available.
The Peak is designed to work with concentrates (dabs, wax, butter). It has been built with a water filtration bubbler attached to it. You are able to charge The Peak and use it while it is not plugged into a power source. By creating The Peak with this versatility it is able to have the power of a desktop vaporizer with the mobility of a portable unit.
There are four heat settings that The Peak can be used with. Whether you are a beginner or an expert the Peak has been designed to have a minimal learning curve. A feature that has been introduced is a session mode that helps to create a group social experience. Session mode is an extended session. This is a similar feature that Puffco has integrated into there portable models the Puffco Pro 2 and the Puffco Plus.
The Peak heats up and in just 20 seconds. Software used by The Peak automatically adjusts heat times based on if your bowl remains hot. The purpose of this is to provide consistent experience from hit to hit.
Battery powered with heptic feedback and a smart bowl makes this dab rig a cool little device. It reminds me of the hydrology 9 – the water vaporizer for dry herbs. If you’d like to learn more or see if the Peak is available you can visit the Official Website here.
The Boundless Tera vaporizer is a new portable dry herb vaporizer that uses convection heating to vape your loose leaf material. The Tera has a few features that are only available in a handful of other devices. The Tera is the 3rd vaporizer model from Boundless with the other two being the Boundless CFC and Boundless CFX. Convection vaporizers are growing in popularity because of their ability to heat material more evenly and efficiently. In this article we will touch on the new features of the Boundless Tera and how it looks against the best portable dry herb vaporizers in the industry.

The new Boundless Tera uses convection heating to heat dry herb materials. Convection heating is becoming more important to people who are making their first vaporizer purchase. The alternative is to get a vaporizer that uses a form of conduction heating. Conduction is where you material is heated through surface touch while convection heating is through the pathway that hot air is forced through. Convection heating is something that will make the Tera vaporizer one of the more favorable options on people's lists.
A heat sink is something that we have only seen in one other portable vaporizer. The Ghost MV1 is a new innovative vaporizer that was also released in 2017. The Ghost MV1 uses a heat sink as well. In addition to using a heat sink the Boundless Tera vaporizer looks like it may also be offered with a glass mouthpiece. The combination of a glass mouthpiece and a heat sink will make for a smooth cooled down hit. The Ghost MV1 vaporizer uses this combo and it seems to work very well. The heat sink chamber will use rings that heat up
Precision temperature is a feature that makes a vaporizers feel more personal. Using preset temperatures restricts you from finding the setting that works best for you and the strain of material you like to use. The Boundless Tera allows you to choose between a wide temperature range to 1 degree of precision.
Magnetic components are growing in popularity and for good reason. Using magnets allows you to quickly reload the chamber and makes device maintenance very easy. Vaporizers that use twist on screw style components tend to get material stuck in them and also take longer to take off and put back in place.
A feature I personally like is the option to use extra batteries. The Tera not only uses external batteries but it uses two very powerful ones. If you are looking for a vaporizer that will be able to last for a long time, the Tera will do this.
The Tera vaporizer using 2 powerful batteries is also good for another reason. With the power that the Tera has under the hood it is able to reach a good vaping temperature much faster then some of the other convection vaporizers on the market.
Boundless Tera is looking like it will be around the $200 mark. The devices we compared the Tera to in this article are all priced well over the $250 mark. At around $200 the Tera is priced competitively and should do pretty well.
Build quality of Boundless vaporizers is above average. The Tera vaporizer model will also be of high quality materials. The heat sink itself is aluminum, the mouthpiece is magnetic, and we have heard their will also be a glass version. The batteries as we have mentioned are two powerful external cells.
We are currently unable to touch on the vapor quality of the Boundless Tera. When we have had some more insight into the performance of the Tera we will update this section. Convection vaporizers are known to be more flavorful and heat materials more evenly. We hope that the Tera can meet our expectations and optimize the material placed in its oven.
The Tera vaporizer by Boundless is to be released any day now. You will be able to get the Tera vaporizer online here.

A new type of vaporizer called the IQOS vaporizer has been designed that is a cross between a vaporizer and a cigarette. The IQOS vaporizes inserts that have actual dried tobacco in them which removes the need for combustion. If you are new to vaporizers you may find it helpful to read our comprehensive vaporizer guide to learn what type of device might be be suited for your needs. To learn more about the IQOS vaporizer continue reading our review article below.
The IQOS vaporizer is an interesting concept that will definitely cater to some people more than others. It is not a 'vape' since vapes are designed to vape liquids and its not a normal vaporizer with a oven chamber that you load in your own dry herbs, tobacco, or concentrates either. The IQOS is designed to work specifically with tobacco inserts that look very similar to a normal cigarette. We can't say that the IQOS is a healthier alternative legally but without using combustion one can assume that less harmful chemicals are extracted from the material being heated.
Looking at the build quality of the IQOS tobacco insert system it is pretty well made. The system includes the charging box, the battery and heating system, and the inserts that go into it.
To use the IQOS you take one of the cigarette style inserts and you place it into the top of the battery heating mod. The insert stick out a bit and this is the part where you place your lips on and it acts as a mouthpiece. This cigarette like insert feels like the filter does with a normal cigarette. I think this was an important feel to accomplish in the product to help people who are having difficulty quitting smoking. The more the entire process resembles a traditional smoking experience the easier and more natural it will be for some people to commit to the change and enjoy the experience.
The IQOS vaporizer is a simple easy to use device that maintains a temperature of around 350°C and automatically turns off after 6 minutes of use. You can turn it back on to continue using it if your session is not complete. You will be able to continue inhaling until the taste and vapor is no longer present.
The battery that is built into the actual mod and heating chamber is pretty small and will likely only get teh average user about 1 session, at which time you will need to place it back into the larger part of the system which will charge it back up for another session. The bigger battery box is able to recharge the smaller mod/heating chamber about 20 times before it itself needs to be recharged.
IQOS is about the same size as a pack of cigarettes and a lighter so ultimately you are carrying the same sized dimensions around with you. If you know that you will only be needing one insert than you can just carry the mod/heating chamber with you, but the insert I think should really only be put in place before use or it could get damaged.
The IQOS vaporizer is an interesting concept and one that I think will benefit some people more than others. Overall the build quality is pretty good and the draws you get are very similar to that of a traditional cigarette. Having said that, I personally am a fan of normal vaporizers since they can be used for a much longer period of time and do not require inserts nor a external battery charging system. Regular dry herb vaporizers can be used with tobacco leaf already, so this might be something worth looking into.
