Check out the top selling portable vaporizer by PAX Labs. The PAX 3 is a compact portable vaporizer for both dry herbs and wax extracts.
Ergonomic, affordable, convection, cooling vapor path - all things sure to make the Pulsar Flow vaporizer a popular device. The Pulsar Flow is an affordable high quality portable dry herb convection vaporizer. Available in multiple color options with a few unique features under the hood we expect this will be a stong mid price range contender. Although we have not had the chance to test this unit yet we will let you know about its details and features.
Buy the Pulsar Flow Here
Intended to be one of Pulsars next big sellers the Flow has been built with quality in mind. The herb chamber is lined with quartz to help deliver strong tasting vapor while the housing is made of durable materials.
An internal 1600 mAh battery powers the Flow. The 1600 mAh battery is better than your average mid range device's power supply. Considering the Flow comes in at around the $100 mark a 1600 mAh battery is pretty impressive.
Located on the top of the Pulsar Flow vaporizer is a long magnetic oven lid that doubles as the vapor filter and cooling path. This lid is made of a durable metal. Overall the build quality and components used make the price seem very reasonable.
Convection units require a stronger battery to be effective. The Flow is powered by a 1600 mAh battery as we mentioned above and it looks like it is a sufficient power source to do the job well. A modest 40 second heat time is needed to allow the convection heating method to do its job before you can achieve a good pull. Convection heating is the most efficient way to vaporizer dry herbs and helps to deliver better tasting not burnt vapor. View more convection vaporizers here.
Taking a page out of the playbook of popular vaporizer brand 'Firefly' is the long groove like vapor path. As the vapor leaves the heating chamber and heads towards your mouth it is forced to flow in and out of the embossed cooling filter pattern. Honestly, the Flow looks like a less sophisticated version of the popular Firefly 2 vaporizer (seen here).
The long vapor path assuming it works on par with the Firefly 2 will require a quick wipe down after several uses. If the vapor path works even only half as good as the Firefly 2 it will remove a good amount of unwanted vapor particles from entering your body.
Temperature for the Flow ranges from 356 to 428 with haptic feedback. The one button design makes switching between the temperatures simple and leaves less room for wear and tear on the unit.
We already commented on the fact that the Pulsar Flow uses an impressive 1600 mAh battery. We expect that this will get you between 10 to 20 sessions. We will again need to confirm this once we have seen this device in action. The small compact nature of the Flow makes it one of the smaller convection vaporizers available. The rounded shape could be comfy or awkward depending on which way you have it positioned in your pocket.
Available in a few variations you can get the Flow in all black, silver and black, carbon fiber, and also with a hint of nature with wood grain and silver.
The shape of the unit is similar to that of the Loto Lux which is another high end vaporizer that has recently been released. This teardrop design is comfortable to hold in the hand. The mouthpiece is ergonomic and feels natural to draw from. So we're told. The overall design and functionality of the Pulsar Flow is simplewith just one button. There is a row of five LED lights to indicate temperature settings located on the one side.
We suggest you purchase the Flow from Vape-Smart here. If you and a friend both make your purchase at the same time you will receive an additional 10% savings.
Who says the vaping industry isn't fashionable? The new XLux Vixen wax pen is a discrete vaporizer that resembles a stick of makeup. XVape (XMax) has been manufacturing portable vaping devices for a long time and it looking to capitalize on the growing female consumer base for wax concentrates.
Vixen is a discrete portable wax vape pen that comes with a smell proof cap, magnetic mouthpiece, and leak proof design. If you have been on the lookout for a inconspicuous portable vaporizer pen, this could be your answer. Designed for those who like make-up the XLux Vixen comes in both black and pink casings.
The XLux Vixen is more powerful than I would have originally thought. After looking more closely at the Vixen wax pen I was pretty impressed. Powered by a 900 mAh battery, built with a smell proof cap and magnetic mouthpiece, USB charging, a leak proof design, and coming with 2 heating elements the Vixen is a solid little package. A dual quartz titanium coil and ceramic plate coil are included to give you the vaping experience more preferable to your liking.
Xlux Vixen has 3 pre set temperatures that you can vape your waxes with. Low temperature is set to 400C (753F), medium at 500C (932F), and high at 600C (1112F). This is a pretty wide range and high temperature output for such a small unit. The three options should be enough to deliver stronger flavor on low and larger hits on high.
Everything you need to start vaping wax concentrates is included (minus the wax). Included in the package with the XLux Vixen is a packing tool, USB cable, user manual, 2 heating elements, wax holding container, and the vaporizer itself.
XVape is more than just a discrete fashion vape pen manufacturer. Sure they also have the XVape Muse (view here) which is a vape pen that can also be used as a writing utensil. But they also have other high quality performance vaporizers. One of the newest editions to the XVape line is the XVape Fog. The Fog is a hybrid conduction + convection vaporizer that delivers superior vapor quality. Whether you are looking for a dry herb vaporizer, a wax vaporizer, an ultra portable pen or anything in between XVape has a solution that may work for you.

Who doesn't like holding a flask! The Utillian 651 is a flask shaped dry herb vaporizer that packs a punch. An upgrade from the popular Utillian 651, elder sibling to the Utillian 420, and more compact than the Utillian 721 the 651 is a promising mid sized performance vaporizer. Today we will take a closer look at the overall build quality, vapor performance, battery life, pro's and con's, and our overall thoughts on if this product is a good buy. Housed with an anodized aluminum shell the Utillian 651 is a durable device. The glass mouthpiece is protected by a flask style protection lid. This device does not have very many parts which means there is not much that can go wrong with it. The Utillian 651 is in the vaporizers under $150 category and outperforms most mid priced range devices on the market. The oven uses a ceramic heating chamber to heat your herbs. Overall the build quality of the Utillian 651 is above industry average.
You should never purchase a vaporizer that does not come with a warranty. A warranty means that the company stands behind the quality of their devices. Utillian offers a 1 year hassle free warranty.
Powered by 3 pre set heating temperatures the Utillian 651 vaporizer does not offer a very wide range in heating options. Luckily the 3 default settings are chosen well and switching between them should deliver enjoyable results. The lowest temperature is set at 196C, the medium to 204C and the highest at 212C.
As the vapor is heated in the ceramic heating chamber which uses conduction heating it travels upwards into the glass mouthpiece to deliver a pure smooth hit. The lower two temperatures deliver stronger taste while the hottest produces the most visible vapor.
Battery power is where the Utillian 651 packs its punch. With up to 3 hours of usage time this is one of the longest lasting portable vaporizers in the under $200 price range.
Shaped like a flask this unit may be considered discrete in terms of looking like a vaporizer, but it raises alarm in its disguise. If someone is intrigued by the flask or perhaps you are in a no drinking area then closer inspection would reveal your little secret. For this reason I would say that this is not a discrete vaporizer and is more of a novelty device.
On a comfort-ability scale I would say that this is a nice vape to carry around and also to hold while using. Similar to a flask it is curved to fit nicely in your pocket. When you are using the Utillian 651 it feels like you are taking a sip from a flask.
Here are a few points that make the Utillian 651 a vaporizer worth considering:
No portable vaporizer is perfect. Here are a few reasons why you may not like the Utillian 651 vaporizer:
For the low price point and the extra long lasting battery I think this device is a good deal. Utillian is known for making strong performing devices that are made with high quality components. The 3 temperature settings do not offer a wide range of heat settings but the 3 that have been chosen work well. The appearance of the Utillian 651 is my favorite aspect of this device as it speaks class to me. Failling somewhere in between the Utillian 420 and the Utillian 721 the 651 has its niche.
Hybrid vaporizers bring you the best of conduction and convection heating methods. The XMax XVape Fog vaporizer is the first hybrid vaporizer that XVape has brought to market. XVape is known for making powerful affordable vaporizers for both dry herbs and wax concentrates. Today we take a closer look at the new XVape Fog to see how it stacks up against the competition. We will touch on the build quality, vapor production, portability, ease of use and pros and cons of this new compact portable vaporizer.
The XVape Fog vaporizer is built with a thick anodized aluminum shell. This thick shell gives the unit a rugged feel and tough casing. Magnetic components are becoming increasingly more popular with portable vaporizers, lowering the cost of production while increasing ease of use. The magnetic mouthpiece top and makes for quick loading and easy maintenance. A jewelry grade ceramic mouthpiece sits on top of the Fog which helps to cool down the vapor as it heads towards your mouth.
The Fog has five default temperature settings that range from 356 F up to 428 F. Each temperature setting is displayed by the five green LED lights located on the side of the unit. When you have 1 light blinking it is heating up to the lowest temperature, when the light turns solid it has reached that temperature. The higher 4 temperatures work the same way.
The lower 3 temperatures deliver more flavor while the higher 2 temperatures give you easily noticeable increased vapor density. The powerful battery and hybrid heating is able to heat your material quickly enough to get a good draw within 30 to 40 seconds. On a single load you will be able to get around 10 solid draws.
The hybrid heating that the Fog vaporizer uses allows for your material to be heated evenly and also quickly. One area where 100% convection vaporizers fall short at times is the length of time you must wait before getting a good draw. The hybrid heating that encompasses both convection and conduction allows for this problem to be addressed while still getting smooth flavorful vapor.
The Fog is 80% convection and 20% conduction at the start of your session and likely a smaller gap for longer sessions. If you vape for around 10 minutes the heat transfer to the oven will eventually result in a higher conduction percentage.
XVape has created a special fitting attachment that allows you to use the Fog with a recycler (water piece). To achieve a cooler smoother hit you can filter your vapor through water filtration and ice. The combination of primarily convection heating with water and ice creates a great tasting cool hit.
The XVape Fog vaporizer uses a powerful 2600 mAh removeable battery. Removable batteries extend the life of your vaporizer and limits the amount of time you can vape only by how many batteries you have. The Fog communicates the remaining battery life through the LED light located around the micro USB charging slot.
Compact and durable are two of the key factors that make the XVape Fog a great portable unit. The thick anodized housing allows you to bring this vape on your travels without having to be super delicate with it. You can pick up additional Samsung 18650 batteries for very cheap online.
Taking advantage of the popular one button design, the Fog is a very straightforward vaporizer to use. To load the Fog you flip open the magnetic mouthpiece giving you access to the loading chamber. You load dry herb material directly into it and use the extract pad for concentrates.
The Fog is activated and deactivated by pressing the power button three times in a row. The light above the micro-USB port displays your remaining battery life - Green: Full, Purple: Medium, Red: Low. The Fog's temperature can be changed by holding down the power button; the five-light LED gauge displays your current temp level.
Considering the Fog falls into the vaporizers under 200 category with a low price tag of around $150 - it is one of the cheaper convection vaporizers available. XVape is a well established vaporizer company that has a number of highly recommended products. If you would like to learn more or buy the XVape Fog vaporizer you can do so by visiting the XVape website here.
Today we examine the popular Utillian 420 vaporizer designed for dry herbs that you can get for a very competitive price. Many people believe that the Utillian brand is one of the best new vaporizer companies that brings high performance devices to market at the most competitive prices. The Utillian 721 is the big brother to the Utillian 420 and it has been compared to the industries top convection vaporizers such as the Mighty and Crafty which are two of the top devices in the Expensive Vaporizer category. In this article we will take a look at the performance and build quality of the Utillian 420 vaporizer and give our opinion on whether we thing its a good deal or not.

To start as with any portable vaporizer you should fully charge your device and also run it through on the highest heat setting with no material in it just to give it a quick clean. To load the Utillian 420 vaporizer you unscrew the glass mouthpiece which will allow you access to the oven heating chamber. You can use a grinder to grind up some loose leaf material and place it into the chamber. The best amount to put into the Utillian 420 is enough to make it still a bit loose and not to tight - a medium packing works best.
When you have all the above done you will be ready to start vaporizing your material. If youhaven't figured this part out already in order to turn the Utillian 420 vaporizer on you press the power button on the side of the device 5 times in a row (you do the same to power it off). When the device turns on you will see the remaining battery life displayed on the screen at the top, it will also show you the current temperature that the vaporizer is set to. By default the temperature will be set as the last temperature you used it on going forward.
There is only 1 button on the Utillian vaporizer and it is used to turn the device on as well as switch through the 4 pre set temperature options. To change temperature you just hold down on the button for about 3 seconds. Personally I think an up and down arrow would have been more user friendly and faster, but with more buttons comes more moving parts and the more likely a device will wear down or break faster.
To be honest the low price of this vaporizer would make you think that the vapor production would be not all that impressive. If you also thought this than you would also be incorrect. The Utillian 420 is one of the best vapor flavor producing vaporizers under $100 that we have tested.
The Utillian 420 impressed with its ability to extract and deliver strong flavor on the lowest 3 temperatures. The lower temperatures are perfect for extracting flavor while ensuring that none of your material combusts. The combination of these low temperatures and the glass mouthpiece makes for an enjoyable smooth vapor.
Most of the vaporizers that we have reviewed in the past in the vaporizers under $100 category get a little bit harsh and hard to hit on the high temperatures. The Utillian 420 was actually pretty goo and not delivering vapor to hot. The glass mouthpiece might be making a bigger difference in comparison to the ceramic or steel mouthpieces that some devices use.
The Utillian 420 is priced under $100 and yet it still has been built to the same standards as some of the industries most expensive devices. The 420 is housed in a anodized aluminum casing which makes it quite durable. The mouthpiece as we have touched on is glass which is perhaps that best material that you would want to have as a mouthpiece. Before holding the Utillian a feeling the weight and knowing that it was housed in aluminum I thought it might be some sort of plastic casing. The build quality of this unit is above average for vaporizers in general, and well above average for similarly priced vaporizers.
Utillian managed to keep the overall cost and purchase price of this model very low while including a screen that helps you keep track of battery life and visually see the current temperature. An LED screen in a vaporizer that costs just $89 is a nice touch.
Dry herb vaporizers have a disadvantage when compared to concentrate vaporizers in terms of battery life and portability. A dry herb vaporizer needs the oven to heat up and stay hot for a longer period of time. Typically for cheap dry herb vaporizers this means that you will not get many sessions and the longer your session the fewer you will get. Some cheap vaporizer will only allow you to get around 2 or 3 sessions or 20 to 40 minutes of vaping time. The Utillian 420 was able to easily deliver an hour of actual vaping time which at 6 minutes a session would give you 10 sessions.
For many users this amount of time will be enough to get you through a day and overnight you will have it charge for the day that follows. For some vape users one hour may not be enough. The Utillian uses a micro USB chord which gives you more options than a standard wall plug so that you can find more opportunities throughout your day to give it a recharge if need be.
The Utillian 420 is a pretty compact little unit that is only 11 cm high, 5 cm wide, and 2 cm in depth. These dimensions are actually pretty hard to believe since they are so small and the device pack quite a bit into its small design. The Utillian 420 is the smallest in the line of Utillian devices the second largest being the Utillian 621 and the largest being the dry herb convection vaporizer the Utillian 721.
The compact mini dry herb vaporizer 'Utillian 420' is one that I almost overlooked and shrugged off as a cheap vaporizer. I would have been wrong to do this and am glad that I took the time to dig more into this little vaporizer. Utillian is on the right track and is bringing to market well made low priced vaporizers. The vaporizer industry has had a few big names for a very long time that have charged an arm and a leg to get a hold of one. The competition that has been created in the past few years seems to have driven down prices while making build quality and vapor quality more important.
The Utillian 420 vaporizer is one of the best options in the under $100 category for dry herb vaporizers in my opinion. The 4 heat settings, the small size, strong build quality, LED screen, and glass mouthpiece make this a solid vape to buy. If you are looking for a bit more of a powerful unit that uses convection heating instead of conduction you may want to consider looking into the Utillian 721 vaporizer here. If you want to learn more or buy the Utillian 420 you can visit one of the links below depending on your area.

Today we have a look at one of the best new wax dab pens that was released in 2017. The QLoudUp Nexus Vaporizer is a powerful new pen that has many people interested for a few reasons. The Nexus comes with a lifetime warranty and 3 coils to work with peoples individual vaping preferences. The Nexus pen is priced very competitively at $80 which pits it against other affordable vaporizers under 100. Here we will touch on a few aspects of the Nexus Vaporizer by QLoudUp to see if it performs well and is worth your money.
The Nexus is available in a few different color options. As you can see from the images of the Nexus wax pen on this page it is a very sleek modern looking pen. You can get it in matte blaq, ruby red, pearl white, and gun metal.
The vape battery is a bit on the weak side, but for a wax pen and how it is designed it hits pretty hard. The battery is a 650 mAh temp controlled battery that has 3 temperatures settings of 340f, 400f, and 460f.
You are able to take 20 second draws from the Nexus vaporizer which is more than enough time to get a good hit. The Nexus by QLoudUp comes with 3 different heating chambers/atomizers - it comes with an all ceramic heating chamber which is great for flavor, a quartz crystal single titanium coil atomizer, and a dual quartz crystal titanium coil atomizer for quick large rips.
The oven chamber is actually pretty deep. Considering the design makes it so the oven can't have a very wide diameter since it is a slim pen shape they did good job at making the oven a solid size by going deeper. You are able to easily git half grab in the oven chamber.
The thread used for the Nexus vape pen is 510 which is typical in wax pens. The device was designed in the US and quality inspected in the US. It has been made with no wicks, glues or dyes. This is important to know that the vapor you will be inhaling is primarily your material and not any left over grit and grind from the manufacturing process. Even still it is still a good idea to run the wax vape pen through a cycle or two on the highest setting with each heating element to give it a burn clean.
One of the biggest features of the Nexus by QLoudUp is that it comes with a lifetime warranty. This gives you peace of mind knowing that the company itself is confident in the product they are selling and in the case that anything standard goes wrong with your unit you will be taken care of.
The package that you get with the Nexus wax pen includes the pen itself, the ceramic chamber, the single quartz chamber, the double quartz chamber, a micro USB charging cable, a dabbing tool, the user's manual, and a travel case.
The price is right and the hits a pretty good. The Nexus vaporizer is rated as one of the best new wax pens of 2017 and when considering things like the lifetime warranty, the temperature options, the overall build quality, the 3 heating chambers/atomizers and the low price tag we can see why it is a popular new wax pen.
The downfalls I see is the less then average battery and the fact that is designed to vape just wax concentrates. If you are looking for a more powerful vaporizer or perhaps one that can vape more than one material you can browse the sections below based on price.
One new vaporizer that may be of interest that was also released in 2017 is the Hera 2 which is a touch screen vaporizer designed for dry herbs and concentrates. A more expensive top of the line vaporizer that is jsut being released that you may also wish to look into is the Ghost MV1.
If you think that the Nexus by QLoud Up is a vaporizer that you may wish to purchase you can do so by visiting there official website here.
Dabado has made a new and improved version of the highly successful Bolt e-nail vaporizer that has jsut recently been released. The Dabado Bolt 2 is the next generation in the Bolt line. This new model has a built in LCD screen with a temperature display and a battery usage indicator as well. The Dabado Bolt 2 package comes with an extra heating element in the kit which acts as a backup in the case that you end up using this thing to the max for a while and need it replaced. This extra heating attachment adds a great deal of value to the package an should give this product a long shelf life.
The Dabado Bolt is one of the flagship devices from Dabado and is one of the easiest and most powerful portable dabbing vaporizer on the market. You no longer have to deal with a rig/torch setup or even have to be plugged into a wall as the case with desktop enail vaporizers. The image below shows you the Dabado Bolt 2 with the included glass piece and dab tool/carb cap.
Using the Dabado Bolt 2 is very easy - before you start using it with your material (wax/dabs) you will want to make sure to charge the device fully to start the battery off on the right footing. Secondly you should run the enail on a high temperature just to burn away any excess material that might have gotten in the nails - you can do this with all 3 of them. After you do this the device is ready for you to start dabbing with.
The device turns on with a few clicks of the power button and using the same button you can cycle through the temperature settings. You will attach the water attachment and when ready to dab hold down the fire button to get the nail up to temperature, use your dab tool to place the wax in the nail, and inhale. You will then use the carb cap to trap in the heat and get a good hit.
Very impressed with the hits you get with this little unit. The Bolt 2 is quick and powerful with all three of the included nails. My personal preference is the ceramic as it delivers the best taste in my opinion.
If you are looking for another option for doing dabs I recommend taking a look at the Atmos Studio Rig. The Atmos Studio Rig connects on to a vape mod using a 510 attachment. This allows you to turn your vape eliquid vaporizer into a powerful dabbing enail unit. You can check out the Atmos Studio Rig here.
Here is a video of the Dabado Bolt 2 where you can see the types of hits you can expect from this device. The video also shows how easy it is to replace the heating element, and the device being used with various glass pieces and a larger recycler. The Bolt is a versatile product and in my opinion one of the better enails on the market. This unit just really stands out to me as it looks cool, its powerful, and the sessions are very enjoyable.
Included in the package you get is the vaporizer enail itself, a carrying case, a powerful 18650 battery, the Bolt 2 magnetic stand, a silicon protector, silicon container for your waxes, a glass attachment, 3 different e-nails (a ceramic one, a quartz one, and a titanium one). The Dabado Bolt 2 as we mentioned above now comes with a extra heating element, and of course the USB charger and user manual. This package is a good deal and makes the Bolt a strong competitor in the vaporizers under 250 category.
When buying a portable vaporizer the best place to make your purchase is through the official manufacturers website. In the vaporizer industry there are many sites that offer cheap knockoff products similar to fake sunglasses and watches. You can be sure you are getting a genuine Dabado Bolt 2 by visiting the official Dabado website at https://dabadovaporizers.com/products/black-bolt-2-kit.

The Arizer line of desktop and portable vaporizers continue to impress. The Arizer Air brought a new compact and powerful easy to use device to consumers which was followed by an upgraded Arizer Solo 2. The Extreme Q introduced one of the best and most affordable desktop units to the vaping industry and the company keeps making top of the line products at very affordable prices that the average consumer can buy. Today we are excited to announce that we have gotten word that Arizer is in the process of bringing the Arizer Air 2 vaporizer to market.
The Arizer Air 2 has now been released and can be purchase directly from the official Arizer website here and shipped to most countries around the world. The Air 2 is one of our top choices for a vaporizer under $250.
Here is what comes with the Air 2: The vaporizer and battery, the usb charger, 2 glass tubes, a glass botanical dish, two silicone stem caps, a carry case, a stirring tool, four screens, incense botanicals, and of course the owner's manual.
The quality of the Air 2 draws are pretty good and a bit better then the original Air in a few ways. The isolated air path ensures that your getting pure untainted vapor which is a good feeling knowing that your vapor is not being mixed with the electrical components or anything like that. The glass stems help to cool down the vapor before hitting your mouth and also the glass stem stays cooler itself as well than other vaporizer mouthpieces.
The Air 2 boasts precision temperature controls which allows you to use it to your own preferences. Most portable vaporizer have a few default settings which work for some people but not all. If you enjoy more flavorful slow draws than you will really enjoy this device on the lower range temperatures, and if you prefer larger dense hits than the higher temperatures do this well.
The Air 2 comes with a travel case, it has a 50% stronger battery than the original, and a faster heat up time. The battery used is removable so you can get extra's to make sure you can have it last as long as you possibly need it to. With one battery on a full charge you can get roughly an hour and 15 minutes to an hour an a half. This of course will depend on your set temperature.
Arizer has 2 popular devices in the portable vaporizer category - the Solo and the Air. The Solo has a much larger battery and the unit itself is also quite a bit bigger. The Air is more portable as it is a more compact unit and can be carried around quite easily.
The actual performance of the two is where I believe that the Solo 2 is better than the Air 2 - which you would expect and the Solo 2 is more expensive. The main reason you would want to get the Air 2 is for the portability, but it only is more portable in size and not in battery length. The Air however does use external batteries where you can get extras. This is a good feature but by the time you purchase a second battery you are up to the same price as the Solo 2.
The Air 2 vaporizer and the Solo 2 vaporizer are both very good devices and both perform exceptionally well. It comes down to the size and the overall power of the draws. The Solo 2 is more powerful but is more of a stationary/portable home unit.
