The Arizer line of desktop and portable vaporizers continue to impress. The Arizer Air brought a new compact and powerful easy to use device to consumers which was followed by an upgraded Arizer Solo 2. The Extreme Q introduced one of the best and most affordable desktop units to the vaping industry and the company keeps making top of the line products at very affordable prices that the average consumer can buy. Today we are excited to announce that we have gotten word that Arizer is in the process of bringing the Arizer Air 2 vaporizer to market.
The Arizer Air 2 has now been released and can be purchase directly from the official Arizer website here and shipped to most countries around the world. The Air 2 is one of our top choices for a vaporizer under $250.
Here is what comes with the Air 2: The vaporizer and battery, the usb charger, 2 glass tubes, a glass botanical dish, two silicone stem caps, a carry case, a stirring tool, four screens, incense botanicals, and of course the owner's manual.
The quality of the Air 2 draws are pretty good and a bit better then the original Air in a few ways. The isolated air path ensures that your getting pure untainted vapor which is a good feeling knowing that your vapor is not being mixed with the electrical components or anything like that. The glass stems help to cool down the vapor before hitting your mouth and also the glass stem stays cooler itself as well than other vaporizer mouthpieces.
The Air 2 boasts precision temperature controls which allows you to use it to your own preferences. Most portable vaporizer have a few default settings which work for some people but not all. If you enjoy more flavorful slow draws than you will really enjoy this device on the lower range temperatures, and if you prefer larger dense hits than the higher temperatures do this well.
The Air 2 comes with a travel case, it has a 50% stronger battery than the original, and a faster heat up time. The battery used is removable so you can get extra's to make sure you can have it last as long as you possibly need it to. With one battery on a full charge you can get roughly an hour and 15 minutes to an hour an a half. This of course will depend on your set temperature.
Arizer has 2 popular devices in the portable vaporizer category - the Solo and the Air. The Solo has a much larger battery and the unit itself is also quite a bit bigger. The Air is more portable as it is a more compact unit and can be carried around quite easily.
The actual performance of the two is where I believe that the Solo 2 is better than the Air 2 - which you would expect and the Solo 2 is more expensive. The main reason you would want to get the Air 2 is for the portability, but it only is more portable in size and not in battery length. The Air however does use external batteries where you can get extras. This is a good feature but by the time you purchase a second battery you are up to the same price as the Solo 2.
The Air 2 vaporizer and the Solo 2 vaporizer are both very good devices and both perform exceptionally well. It comes down to the size and the overall power of the draws. The Solo 2 is more powerful but is more of a stationary/portable home unit.

KandyPens has recently come out with 2 new vape pens for wax. The 2 new models are called the KandyPens Prism and the KandyPens Prism Plus. Both are designed to work with essential oils and are both offered at competitive prices. In this review we will take a closer look at both of these models and see which one is the better overall deal and which one might be best for you specifically.

The KandyPens Prism is a newly released wax/oil vaporizer. This Prism is the smaller of the two new models, the larger being the Prism Plus which we review below. The Prism is a strong competitor in the best vaporizers under 100 category.
The overall build quality of the KandyPens Prism and Prism Plus are both made with high quality components. The fact that these 2 devices are priced around the $100 mark makes them a pretty good deal. The housing of the Prism is made using medical grade electro plated stainless steel - comes in both white and black. The package comes with 2 heating chambers, one all ceramic and the other is quarts and titanium.
The Prism has a average size battery of 320 mAh while the Prism Plus has a more powerful 900 mAh battery. Depending on your lifestyle will likely determine which model you get - either a quicker charging model or a longer lasting model.
The mouthpiece is made from glass and no glues wicks or dyes were used to make or exist in either of these 2 vape pens. The package comes with 2 mouthpieces. If you get the Prism you will get a lightning charger (similar to an iPhone 5 or higher charger). The package comes with a dab tool, a cap for the top, and also a velvet protective pouch.
The Kandy Pens Prism and Prism Plus both come with a lifetime warranty for the battery. The Prism models were developed and designed in the US.
The Prism comes with two different heating chambers which both are designed to deliver a different vapor experience. The dual quarts rods with titanium coils are meant for bigger rips and heat you material up at a faster speed and deliver bigger vapor clouds. The all ceramic heating chamber is designed to work a bit slower and delivers a more flavorful draw.
If you are looking for more flavor I would stay on the lower 2 pre-set temperatures, and if looking for quicker draws and more vapor go with the higher two. The 4 temperatures are as follows: 320°, 350°, 390°, 430°.
The Prism has an ok battery and one that you typically find in the lower end vape pens. The battery used is a 350mAh sub ohm battery. The Prism Plus is the unit that has a larger more powerful battery.
The Prism is a very easy to use wax vaporizer pen. You turn the device on by pressing the power button 5 times. You are able to change the temperature by pressing the same button 2 times. The 4 temperatures are noted by the color of the LED light around the button - Yellow 320°F, Green 350°F, Red 390°F, and Blue 430°F.
It is recommended to fully charge the Prism before first use and to also run it through the highest temperature setting before your first use. This will just burn away any unwanted materials that may have found there way into either of the heating chambers.
Both the Prism and the Prism Plus have pass through charging so they can be used when plugged in. When you load your essential oil into the vaporizer and your ready t use it you simply hold down the power button and it heats up instantly. You can than take slow draws and enjoy.
The KandyPens Prism Plus is the larger more powerful version of the Prism wax/oil vape pen. If you are looking for a more portable vape pen that lasts longer and packs a bigger punch this one will be for you.
Overall build quality of the Prism Plus is identical to the Prism. Please refer to the section above if you have not read it already regarding build quality of the KandyPens Prism vape pens.
The KandyPens Prism Plus also comes with two heating chambers similar to the Prism. The same principles apply and you are able to use the all ceramic heating chamber for more flavorful hits while the dual quarts rod titanium coil heating chamber is designed for quicker larger hits.
The Prism Plus is powered by a powerful 900 mAh sub-Ohm battery. This battery will get you quite a bit more use in between charges. The downfalls of this larger battery is that it takes longer to charge and that it requires the overall size of the device to be larger. I personally think the larger one is still a good size and compact enough to fit easily into a pocket or carrying bag.
The KandyPens Prism Plus works similar to the Prism. They both use the simple one button design. The difference in the units is how they charge. The Prism Plus only has a micro USB slot located on the side of the unit, while the Prism has both a micro USB slot and a lightning USB charging slot.
So after having a look at both the KandyPens Prism and the KandyPens Prism Plus we can see that there are 4 main differences. The Prism Plus is a larger device than the Prism and also has a powerful battery that will last longer in between charges. The Prism Plus has the LED lights on the side where as the Prism does not. Lastly the Prism Plus does not have the lightning charger that the Prism has located on the bottom of the pen. So the smaller model has quick charging but does not last as long and is a bit less powerful. Choosing which one is best will depend on your need for portability vs quick charging. If you will be needing your device away from power for longer periods of time than the Prism Plus is your best bet.
The best place to buy is either from an authorized drop ship dealer such as Vape-Smart here.

The new vaporizer and attachments offered by Prohibited are pretty unique and something new to the vaporizer industry. Vaporizers are becoming more modular and attachments are becoming a bigger part of the picture. Vaporizers today are far more sophisticated than they were just a few years ago. Vaporizer like the ones from Prohibited are designed to vape multiple materials in multiple ways. This device may come to be a strong competitor in the best vaporizers under $250 category.
5th Degree Vaporizer has a few pretty cool attachments that will be available to work alongside it. Notably the dabbing attachment and the e-rig attachment which we will touch on a bit later. The Prohibited Vaporizer company also has a device called the 4th Degree coming out that is a more slim portable unit. In this article we will touch on the build quality, attachments, portability, ease of use, and where to get one if you so choose.

The Prohibited 5th Degree Vaporizer boasts a unique a premium vaping experience. This device uses different cartridges for dry herbs and for wax concentrates making it a multi material vaporizer. The interchangeable cartridges connect to the 5th Degree using magnets for a very user friendly and fast loading design. A combination of variable voltage and temperature settings gives you more control over your session than most other portable vaporizers.
The 5th Degree vaporizer by Prohibited has been built using a stainless steel oven for dry herbs and a dual quartz and titanium cartridge for concentrates. The housing is made using a single body construction design. The vaporizers from Prohibited are offered with a top tier warranty that only a small handful of device manufactures offer. The 5th Degree Prohibited Vaporizer is a portable multi material vaporizer. The device charges with the magnetic charging dock and is powered by a powerful internal rechargeable battery. The 5th Degree model is not quite as small as the 4th degree model that Prohibited is also offering but the design and functionality make the 5th Degree a more versatile and powerful option. If you plan on using the device without the 2 attachments it is a more portable unit.
The 5th Degree vaporizer is designed to be used with dry herbs and thicker concentrates. This device is not meant to work with e-liquids. Overall the versatility of this portable multi material vaporizer is pretty good.
The option to change variable voltage, the option to adjust the temperature settings, the option to vape different mediums, and the option to pair the device with innovative attachments such as the 5th Degree Dabber Attachment and the 5th Degree E Rig Attachment. This level of versatility does not exist in to many vaporizers when they are first introduced to market. The fact that right out of the gates these options are being mentioned likely means that we will see more innovative attachments designed for the Prohibited vaporizers.
The first attachment you may want to get is the tip heating dab attachment. When you connect this to the vaporizer mod you turn it into a Dipper like vaporizer. If you are unfamiliar with a dabbing vaporizer it is where the tip has a little atomizer in it that vapes your concentrates and inhaling through the mouthpiece at the same time.
The second attachment is the portable e rig. This allows you to vape concentrates using a nail and a water bubbler attachment. The e-nails have a heating capacity of 450°C and the nails are interchangeable.
A more portable vaporizer experience that will work for both dry herbs and concentrates by Prohibited is called the 4th Degree Vaporizer. As you can see by the preview below the 4th Degree Vape Pen is much smaller and more pocket friendly than the 5th Degree. We are not sure about the details of the 4th degree pen yet and also unsure about the attachment options.
Overall the Prohibited vaporizers are well built and stem from a new company that has parent companies that have been in the vaporizer business for quite a while. The versatility, portability, build quality, attachments and overall look and feel to the Prohibited line are very good.
The option to vape both dry herbs and concentrates from the 5th Degree in various ways is something that will keep you interested in the same device for a while. The fact that Prohibited is offering a lifetime warranty with there devices is quite impressive and should tell you something about the overall quality and confidence that they have in their product line.
The best place to buy the Prohibited Vaporizers is directly through there official website. There are a lot of companies that attempt to replicate vaporizer from other companies similar to fake watches. It is recommended to purchase from with the official manufacturer here.
We've been hearing a lot of good things about the Atmos Studio Rig which is a portable e nail kit that comes with two different heating chambers. The Atmos e rig box mod attachment is able to connect to pretty much all box mods. This attachment turns your e-liquid mod setup into one of the best weed vaporizers. Not only can you now vape dry herbs and wax concentrates, but the glass mouthpiece also uses water filtration to give you a smooth draw. In this article we will take a look at the build quality, potability, versatility, and our overall opinion on if the Atmos Studio eRig is a product worth buying.
The Atmos Studio Rig is available in bronze, silver, red and black. You can get it with either the standard 510 threading or the specialized Atmos threading. If you will be pairing this with your existing mod that is not an Atmos model you will want to go with the standard 510 threading.
The e nail kit comes with a ceramic chamber, titanium nail chamber, glass filtration/chamber connector, and a magnetic cap and packing tool. All the components are well built and and designed to deliver a solid vaping experience. Built with a completely solder free composition and containing top quality materials, the Studio Rig is one of the best vaping attachments that we've seen - especially for box mods.
The Studio Rig is definitely portable but not exactly pocket portable. It is more portable than a desktop e nail but because its made of glass and is in itself a few different parts its not the easiest thing to quickly grab and go with. If your traveling and space and carrying things on your self is not an issue than the e nail kit as a whole is definitely portable. In the image below you will see the Studio Rig attached to a small box mod.
The Atmos Studio Rig e nail kit uses 3 unique and interchangeable heating chambers that combined are able to vape dry herbs and wax concentrates. The heating chambers have been designed to deliver a pure vapor hit and flavorful taste. The Studio Rig Box Mod attachment is a versatile unit for being able to vape multiple materials, includes the element of water, and can connect to many different box mods.
Overall the Studio Rig by Atmos is a cool little box mod attachment. If you already own a box mod that uses a 510 thread and your looking for a product that you can vape both dry herbs and concentrates with this is a cool option to have. The fact that it uses a bubbler and provides a bit of water filtration is a bonus as well. If your looking for an all round portable attachment that is more designed for traveling that will work with your box mod as well we recommend you take a look at the Greedy M2 heating chamber, ideally it would be cool to have both the Rig and the Greedy and than your set for both home use and travel purposes. Both are neat, both made by Atmos.
A new enail vaporizer that has recently been released is the Dabado Bolt 2 which I recommend you check out. The Bolt 2 is not a 510 mod attachment but is a stand alone complete portable dab kit. The Bolt 2 comes with 3 different nails, a replacement heating element, and uses a powerful battery to deliver strong hits. You can check out the Dabado Bolt 2 here.
It is recommended to purchase vaporizers through the official site of the manufacturer. This removes the risk of getting a cheap knock off replica version. You can visit the official Atmos website here.
The Atmos Greedy M2 or Mark II is a new heating attachment that will work to vape both dry herbs and wax concentrates that can pair to your mod via 510 adapter. The Greedy M2 is compatible with the popular Atmos Studio Rig, the original Greedy heating attachment chambers, and a whole lot more. In this review of the Greedy M2 we will take a look at the build quality, vapor quality, versatility, and overall assessment weighed against the value and cost of the unit. Continue reading our Greedy M2 review below.
Get the M2 from Atmos Official Site Here
The build quality of the Greedy Mark 2 is similar to the original Greedy heating attachment in that it uses a durable stainless steel housing that works with an adjustable airflow and a splash resistant mouthpiece. The Greedy M2 also uses a dry herb filter that can be swapped out as needed - this is a multi purpose attachment that works pretty good for both wax and dry herbs.
If you plan on making an order with Atmos to get this heating attachment you should be aware that it does not come with the atomizers and additional components required - this is something that you can pick and chose from to put together the system that you prefer.
Both the Greedy and the Greedy M2 are compatible with three unique wax heating coils designed for different styles of wax concentrate consistency vaping. The Kanthal twisted coil quartz rod chamber, the Kanthal Clapton coil quartz rod chamber, and the stainless steel quartz rod chamber each have there own benefits when used with the Greedy M2 heating chamber. Depending on your preference to get more flavor, produce more visible vapor clouds, have a quick heat up time, and the ability to save on battery power can all be accomplished with using a specific coil in combination with your mod.
The choice is up to you and if you want to produce more clouds then the Clapton is a better choice and if you want a quicker pretty much instant heat up time than the dual quartz coil is the better option. The vapor quality overall is very good with the M2 and can be adjusted with the dual adjustable airflow.
For a weed tank system that can be used to vape both dry herbs and wax concentrates with your mod the Greedy M2 is a pretty versatile attachment. The Greedy Mark 2 can be used with the 3 heating chambers to vaporize both dry herbs and wax concentrate products with very easily. When you want to use the M2 for dry herbs, you can use it with the embedded ceramic heating chamber, and when you want to use it for wax concentrates it can be used with the ceramic nail chamber or the titanium nail chamber. All of these Atmos chambers are built with solder free composition to help in delivering the pure and flavorful.
Atmos has proven themselves to be a very reputable company that continues to bring quality built products to market. The Greedy M2 is one of the only tank systems designed for both dry herbs and concentrates. The build quality and versatility of the M2 is pretty impressive for the competitive price they have it listed at. Overall this seems like a pretty good deal and I don't think many people will be disappointed in their purchase. If you are looking for a concentrate tank system there are a number of great wax atomizer heating tank systems available.
If your able to find a time when they have this product in stock the best place to buy one is through the official Atmos website here.
The DAbOX portable wax vaporizer has recently been released by Vivant. The DAbOX is a compact vaporizer that makes dab hits very easy and convenient. The spelling of the device with the small 'b' makes it more apparent that it is meant to be a 'dab' 'box' in an attempt to gain market share of the growing wax/dab user-base. In this article we will have a look at the build quality, vapor quality, portability, pros and cons, our overall assessment, and where to get one if you think this device is right for you. Continue reading to learn more about from our Vivant DAbOX review.
The DAbOX wax vaporizer is built using quality materials and delivers 40W at the press of the fire button. The glass chamber is pretty big which allows the vapor to travel a good distance before hitting your lugs. The glass chamber is very easily removable making it simple and quick to clean.
The DAbOX dab vaporizer comes with a Dual Quartz Coil and a Dual Quartz Clapton Coil. The device has a patent pending Flip Door that opens and closes giving you access to the coil where you can quickly load it or replace a coil as necessary. It's actually a bit similar to the Ghost MV1 oven chamber in a sense that it is easily accessible, loadable, and maintainable.
The LED lights the device uses communicate various things with you. The LED lights will indicate if the unit is charging or fully charged, if the device is on or off, the connection to the coil, and you can also use stealth mode if you like.
When you have the device in use - as in you have the fire button pressed down (yes the DAbOX uses a fire button) the glass mouthpiece tube will light up from the LED lights to display the approximate remaining battery life. There are 3 different LED colors that will display depending on the remaining charge - if it lights up green you will have between 80% and 100% battery life remaining, if it lights up blue you will be sitting at 20% to 79%, and if it lights up red you will be running low and be between 1% and 19%. This is an interesting way to go about the remaining battery and to be honest does not seem like the most user friendly way to do it. They should have at least had maybe 5 different colors and closed the huge gap between 20% and 79% to help give the user a better idea. The light could be blue and you might think to your self 'what a wonderful world', and than bam! red light of death. Just saying, its 2017 could give the user a bit more of an indicator. Overall not a big deal, just something that seems a bit off to me.
The chart below will give you a god indicator of what to expect when using each f the included coils. The dual quartz coil has the fastest heat up time, which in turn gives you more battery longevity on a single charge. The Clapton dual quartz has the longest heat up time but also produces the best vapor. The single quartz Clapton coil is not included and can be purchased separately and falls in the middle of the other two in both vapor quality, energy usage and heat up time.
The DAbOX uses a built in 1500mAh lithium ion battery which for the size of the unit is a descent battery. Using a built in battery can sometimes be a pain when the device take 2 to 3 hours to charge, but the DAbOX uses a quick charge system that allows it to charge with 2 Amps current making it able to go from a 0% charge to 100%charge in under 1 hour. When the battery is charging the device will light up red and when fully charged the light will turn off.
The size of this new portable wax vaporizer is pretty small and the shape is a comfortable one. It can easily be held in the palm of your hand with the fire button in a good position. The device feels pretty powerful and generates some descent vapor clouds.
Here's what you will get in the DAbOX Vaporizer Kit:
Overall the DAbOX is a well designed vaporizer that provides something a bit different then the typical portable wax vape pen design we see with pretty much every other unit. Portable wax vaporizers are becoming more popular and the ability to do dabs so conveniently on the go is great to see. The fire button and the design of this vaporizer makes it feel a bit like a vape mod opposed to a herbal vaporizer. The price point of this wax vaporizer is extremely low and perhaps the lowest we've see for a device that performs as well as this one does. I would like to just point out another portable shatter vaporizer that you may be interested in as well - if you have not yet checked out the Dipper from DipStick Vapes it is a innovative versatile shatter pen that is also pretty cool. In conclusion the DAbOX is a good deal and performs well - a great way to get into dabs if you haven't already.

Sleek, stylish, and affordable - 3 words that describe the new G Pen Pro to a T. Grenco Science has always been known for manufacturing quality vaporizers that fit pretty much any budget. The new G Pen Pro falls into vaporizers under $100 category. You can learn more about the new ground material vaporizer from Grenco Science here in our initial product review.
The G Pen Pro comes with all the basic components such as the USB charging cable, user manual, cleaning brush, g pen tool, and of course the G Pen Pro itself. When you first get this device you will want to register it at Gpen.com in order to register for your devices warranty - doing so will also ensure that you have purchased a legit device and not a fake. If you make your purchase directly from Gpen.com or an authorized dealer you should not have any problems here. Just be careful with purchasing vaporizers through sites like Craigslist, eBay, and other non authorized online marketplaces.
Th other thing you should do when you first get this vaporizer (same with all vaporizers) is to make sure to fully charge the device. Let it charge for a minimum of 2 to 3 hours - you will see that the G Pen Pro's LED lights are flashing when the device is charging and will turn to a solid when the device is fully charged. Now, before you jump right in and start loading up your material it is always a good idea to run the vape through a heating cycle on the highest temperature to burn off any left over residue or chemicals from the manufacturing process. After you have done all the above you are ready to load the oven and start vaping.
The mouthpiece on the G Pen Pro is similar to the mouthpiece on the G Pen Elite, you can remove it by using upward pressure to gain access to the oven chamber. You will need to grind up some ground material (loose leaf) and be sure to not over pack the oven, over packing the oven will make airflow more restricted and your draws feel less natural. To turn the G Pen Pro vaporizer on you press the power button 5 times quickly.
The G Pen Pro has been designed with the popular one button design which makes it very simple to use and harder to break over devices that have more moving parts. To change the temperature you press and hold the button down and the lights will change color to indicate the set temperature. Blue is the lowest temperature at 375f (190c), Green is medium at 400f (204c), and Red is the highest at 428f (220c). As you change from one temperature to the next the flashing lights indicate that the unit is warming up and has not yet reached the desired temperature, once the lights turn solid than you can start taking draws. For the best performance with the G Pen Pro you will want to take long slow draws - try and go for at least 10 seconds draws.
The G Pen Pro is built with a safety shut off time of 4 minutes. If you are not yet done your session you can simply press the power button to keep going. To keep your device in good condition you can use the cleaning brush to sweep out the oven and to also brush the underside of the mouthpiece.
The best place to buy the G Pen Pro is directly from Grenco Science at Gpen.com here.
