Don’t Buy CBD Vape Oil if It Has This One Ingredient

In case you haven’t heard, there’s a terrible lung illness sweeping across the United States. Nearly 1,300 people are confirmed to have been stricken by the disease that resembles a severe form of pneumonia, and 26 people have died from it. All of the people diagnosed with lung illness have vaped before becoming sick, and the vast majority of those people have admitted that they used cannabis products.

Here’s the good news. If you vape only nicotine and/or CBD products, you most likely have nothing to fear because the lung illness seems to center around THC vaping products – particularly those produced for the black market. Also, aside from one occurrence in Canada, the illness has not occurred outside the United States. Nevertheless, it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with the situation, so you’ll always know what you’re vaping safely.

Reading this article, you’re going to learn the one ingredient that should never be in any CBD oil, e-liquid or other vaping product.

What Ingredient Should Never Be in CBD Vape Oil?

The one ingredient that should send you running far, far away from any CBD vape oil is Vitamin E acetate. The CDC has reported that Vitamin E is present in many – but not all – of the vaping product samples submitted by lung disease sufferers for analysis.

Whether Vitamin E acetate is the only – or primary – cause of the lung illness is unknown. It has become a focus of attention, though, because the disease is a form of lipoid pneumonia in which oil droplets settle in the lungs and are then attacked by the immune system. Until now, no one has ever had any reason to inhale Vitamin E – but thanks to the illicit THC distribution industry, people are inhaling it now. Some people are inhaling a lot of it, and all evidence currently suggests that Vitamin E inhalation is unsafe.

Why Are People Inhaling Vitamin E?

To understand why this crisis is occurring, consider that the primary goal of any business owner is to make more money. In legitimate industries, we have regulations in place to limit how business owners can do that. Illegal businesses aren’t concerned about following laws, however, nor are they concerned about the safety of their customers. As you’re about to learn, that’s why the vaping lung illness centers around the illicit THC industry. Vitamin E, as it turns out, allows sellers of illicit THC vaping cartridges to dilute the cartridges without customers knowing.

How THC Vape Cartridges Are Produced

To produce THC vape cartridges, and illicit seller needs large quantities of cannabis. The seller grinds the cannabis flowers, places them in a container and shoots the container full of a solvent such as butane. The butane – and the extracted essential oils of the cannabis – flow out the bottom of the container. Gentle heating removes the residual butane, and the substance that remains is pure hash oil. One pound of cannabis yields an ounce or two of hash oil, and butane is an extremely flammable substance that has caused many fires and explosions during hash oil production. So, for the illicit THC vape cartridge producer, obtaining or growing a massive quantity of cannabis is extremely risky, and extracting hash oil from the cannabis is extremely dangerous. Therefore, the producer has a strong incentive to maximize his investment and minimize his risk by giving the buyer a little THC oil as possible.

Illicit THC Cartridges Are Diluted and Dangerous

Illicit THC cartridge sellers have been cutting their cartridges with other substances for years. Most recently – before the Vitamin E craze began – illicit sellers were cutting their cartridges with liquid terpenes. Since terpenes naturally occurring in cannabis, you can’t tell that you have a cartridge diluted with terpenes simply by tasting it. So, THC cartridge users came up with something they called the “bubble test.” If you have a cartridge that’s watered down with terpenes – and you invert the cartridge – the air bubble will quickly move to the other side of the cartridge because terpenes are much thinner than hash oil.

Word quickly got around about the bubble test, so illicit cartridge producers had to find another way to dilute their cartridges. Vitamin E acetate provided the perfect solution, and by Summer 2019, there were dozens of companies around the country selling Vitamin E as a diluent for THC oil. Vitamin E didn’t just dilute THC oil; it also thickened it. Illicit cartridge producers could water down their THC oil with terpenes and thicken it back up with Vitamin E. The cartridges looked exactly as they would if they had pure THC oil in them, so the bubble test was made completely useless.

Investigators have commented that some of the THC cartridges submitted to them contain more Vitamin E than THC.

The Vitamin E Problem Is Not Going Away

The adulteration of illicit THC vape cartridges with Vitamin E has become so commonplace that some believe there could be tens of millions of contaminated cartridges on the streets right now. If you don’t have a legal option for purchasing cannabis where you live, you should consider this article your wake-up call – don’t purchase illicit THC vaping products. No matter what the seller says, you have no idea what’s in those cartridges. The Vitamin E problem is real, and it’s not going away. Unless the federal government legalizes cannabis and begins regulating its production, we might still be dealing with this lung illness years from now.

Is Your CBD Vape Oil Safe?

So, now you know why you should exercise caution when using cannabis vaping products. Here’s the good news. The reason why the Vitamin E problem centers around the illicit THC industry is because illicit sellers water their cartridges down to increase their profits. Legal sellers of cannabis vaping products like CBD vape oil have no reason to dilute their products. They use outside laboratories to verify that their products contain what’s on their labels. Before you buy CBD vape oil from a company for the first time, though, It’s wise to confirm that the company doesn’t add Vitamin E to its products.

Where to find CBD oil, CBD vape oil, and other CBD infused products in Toronto Canada?

I personally think this is bizarre that one cannot purchase a natural grown plant based compound that has no psychoactive effects to the human body. The government of Ontario’s website for cannabis offers only THC based cannabis products and has them on lock down so no-one else can sell such products. They do not even offer CBD products with no THC found in them. The official government site only offers high THC products with around 1% CBD contents. Buying CBD in Canada from a retail location is no yet a reality.

The website also offers pipes and bongs which seems a little odd. Why would the government promote the use of a ‘flame/combustion’ method over other methods that do not release tar and carcinogens into the body? Portable vaporizers are a much more health conscious option which lower the negative effects of tar and carcinogens.

Best CBD Hemp Oil For Your Vape Pen in 2018

Vape pens are now a well established presence on the smoking scene, used for recreation, as a stop smoking aid, and these days also to consume CBD hemp oil.

As with pretty much everything, not all products in the marketplace are as good as each other, so when buying CBD hemp oil for your vaping pen it’s worth doing some research first, so you can be sue of buying the right one for you.

What is CBD vape oil?

It’s a highly concentrated liquid made from mixing CBD – a chemical compound found in a natural hemp plant – with something like coconut oil. When using in a vaping pen the liquid heats up, and is inhaled.

It can be bought by the bottle, ready to top up the pen’s vaporizer as needed, or sometimes also as a single use cartridge for a vape pen.

The benefits vaping CBD hemp oil brings

CDB is a popular way to treat the symptoms of chronic illness and pain, and vaping the oil definitely seems to reduce pain, inflammation and blood pressure, as well as relieve the symptoms of conditions like epilepsy and even cancer.

Much of the evidence is from people treating themselves, as official medical research is still in its early stages. Regardless, although not considered a cure by any means, it seems to bring relief, and that can only be a good thing.

How to find the best CBD oil for your vape pen

There’s little benefit to be had from vaping poor quality CBD hemp oil, or making poor choices, so don’t waste your time, effort and cash.

Buy the right quantity

Make sure you check how much oil you are actually getting for your money before you buy cbd vape juice. This could range from 25mg up to 300mg +, and last you anything from 1 to several days, depending on how much you use it.

Initially it’s normal to crave the CBD as your body tends to absorb a lot, but this soon settles down and you will begin using less.

Don’t fall for fake oil

Nobody wants to buy a substandard product, but in a market where there are limited regulations and checks it can be difficult to identify safe, clean CBD oil for vaping. The most sensible thing to do is to read reviews of products on the market, and go with a cbd brand that others have faith in.

Look at the levels of propylene glycol

Propylene glycol is a chemical some companies add to CBD vape oil to thin it out. When heated it breaks down into tiny particles which have already been linked to diseases including cancer and asthma. Propylene glycol is said to be safe except when heated, so it is best avoided in hemp vape products.

There’s so much choice in the fast growing CBD hemp vape oil market that taking the time to research, read reviews, and look for sites with official certification and a clear understanding  of the ingredients of hemp oil before deciding which is the best for your vape pen.

CBD Vape Oil Guide | Things to Consider

Cannabidiol is a compound found in the hemp plant that is used to help prevent and treat a wide range of health related symptoms, illnesses and diseases. Cannabidiol or ‘CBD’ for short can be extracted from the plant and used in a number of different ways. One of the most common ways people are experiencing CBD is through electronic inhalation devices known as vaporizers. Vaporizers are designed to heat up material at a lower temperature than that of combustion. By heating material at a lower temperature than combustion, the risk of inhaling harmful tar and carcinogens is reduced. CBD vape oil is a simple and effective way to consume CBD.

Things to consider when buying CBD vape oil

Understand how much CBD to use

One of the most frequently asked questions for new medical marijuana users and CBD users is how much CBD is needed to be used and over what period of time. Understanding CBD percentage and dosage levels is important information you should be aware of. Typically, the amount of milligrams ranges between 25mg and about 300mg per bottle. The average consumption of these bottles should last somewhere between 5 and 15 days depending on your usage levels. Keep this in mind when purchasing CBD oil as to not get more than you need. Its wise to purchase a little bit at first to see if CBD oil is something that benefits you.

The recommended usage of CBD oil is to take 1-2 inhalations while holding in each inhalation for several seconds. This process can be repeated as needed every other hour. You may find that as time progresses you can use CBD less often. This is because it may take a bit of time for CBD to be absorbed by your body than it does to leave it.

Look into customer reviews before purchasing CBD products

A simple yet important thing you can do is to do your own research and see what other people are saying. CBD is a product that gets inflated reviews by promoters in which you must sift through the noise to find what real people are saying. There are a lot of high quality products out there, yet CBD lies in a bit of a gray area with the FDA and many products have not yet been tested or approved. Companies that use 3rd party testing, and allow customer reviews are a good place to start. By taking charge and looking into CBD products before you buy them you will be able to make a more informed and educated decision.

CBD vape oil compared to other CBD products

Taking CBD orally in the form of a pill, capsule or infused in edibles can result in effects that may otherwise not occur through vaporization. Effects can range from inconsistent absorption levels of CBD to a delayed timing of the CBD compounds. Vaping CBD oil helps to overcome these effects with more accuracy of CBD dosage.

Understand why you are using CBD oil and what you expect to get out of it

CBD is yet to be verified by scientific research publicly by credible sources. Yet there are many people who claim that CBD has helped them or studies that have shown that candidates have benefited from the use of it. People use CBD to ease the side effects off illnesses, pain and diseases such as anxiety, joint pain, cancer, leukemia, inflammation, seizures, stress, and many others. CBD is used by many to help treat or ease the side effects of these conditions. If you intend to use CBD than please do so with the understanding that it has not yet been scientifically proven to benefit the user. You should continue to listen to your doctor and research the topic of CBD and stay up to date on any new studies.

CBD does not get you high

CBD unlike THC does not get you high. There are no psychoactive effects as a result of taking CBD. If you are looking for an altered state of mind similar to that caused by THC you will not experience it from CBD products that are free of THC.

Conclusion

It is important to do your own research on CBD and come up with a conclusion based on your own findings. A good way to do this is to stay on top of new studies by credible sources. When you believe that you have a sound understanding of CBD, one of the easiest and most effective ways to try it is by using CBD vape oil and a vaporizer.
