Materials, Look and Feel of the Starry Portable Herbal Vaporizer

The Starry Vaporizer by X Max is made with an anodized aluminum shell and has a ceramic mouthpiece that is designed with magnets to allow for quick and easy loading of the oven. The oven is also made with ceramic. The overall feel of the Starry vape is a feeling of a quality made product. The oven size is 0.17 grams, and if you pack it a bit tighter you can put in about .3 grams.

Starry Vaporizer Temperature Options and Heat Up Speed

Although not as fast as the more premium vaporizer such as the PAX 3 and DaVinci IQ the Starry still heats up relatively fast. It will heat up to a good vaping temperature after about 15 to 20 seconds and will reach maximum temperature just after the 30 second mark. The temperature control gives you a range between 212° - 464° F / 100° - 240° C to work with.

The new Starry Vaporizer by X Max is powered by a replaceable and rechargeable Samsung 2500 mAh battery (18650 battery) which you can remove from the bottom of the device (shown in the image below). To save your battery the Starry has been built with automatic shut off settings where you can chose between 5 minutes and 10 minutes. This will make sure that you don't leave your device on and drain your battery for your next use. Having the option to carry extra batteries means that you can bring as much power as you like on something like a camping trip where plugging into power may not be an option. Both internal batteries and replaceable batteries have there pros and cons, but the option to replace a battery means that your device can live longer than the battery that runs it.

The battery has enough power when completely charged to vape continuously for about 70 minutes. This is quite along time and if you are vaping for over an hour each day than you may want to get an extra battery since you will be able to continue using your device while one is being charged.

For $119, this thing is feature rich! The Starry’s feature set included full digital temperature control, the option to choose between 5 and 10 minutes for the auto-shutoff timer, and a magnetic lid that stays put in the pocket and even sticks to the vape while you’re loading it. The mouthpiece is made of ceramic zirconia which doesn’t add any off-flavors and has a nice feel on the lips.
